Another tough season looks likely for Everton. They are 18th in the table after two losses and host newly-promoted Nottingham Forest who are tenth in the Premier League season. Everton only just avoided relegation last season but are already in trouble this term. Two league games have produced a couple of defeats by Chelsea and Aston Villa. Just one goal has been scored and they are already missing Richarlison who moved to Tottenham in the summer. With Calvert-Lewin again out injured, Everton are again struggling for confidence and goals. Home form has produced a 1-0 loss to Chelsea on the opening weekend of the season. Frank Lampard has a lot of work to do in this transfer window if he is to avoid another relegation battle this season.
Nottingham Forest began their first season in the Premier League this century with a 2-0 away loss at Newcastle. They bounced back well though with a 2-0 home win over West Ham United last Sunday. Good home form is likely to be vital if they want to avoid an immediate return back to the Championship. Forest have made plenty of signings during the summer (Lampard take note) so it will take a few games for them to gel. One top signing has been getting Henderson on loan from Manchester United and he was excellent in the win over West Ham. A bet on under 2.5 goals looks the one to make here.
