Only the top three have won more Premier League games this season than Everton. They start this set of games in sixth, six points behind opponents third placed Leicester City but with two games in hand. If Everton could win their games in hand, they'd only be two points off the top of the Premier League. They had a great start to the season, went through a bad spell but have again started to find good form. Five of their last six league games have been won, the other was a home loss to West Ham on New Year's Day. They have also had cup wins over Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday. They aren't quite firing on all cylinders though and won't be until Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Rodriguez rediscover their early season form. Calvert-Lewin hasn't scored a league goal since the start of December. He missed a couple of games this month but returned on Sunday and scored against Sheffeld Wednesday, if he keeps that up, it's great news for Everton. Home form this season has seen them win two and lose three of their last five games so some improvement is needed if they want a top four finish.
Leicester City know what it's like to have unpredictable home form. If they'd been performing better, they'd be a few points clear at the top of the table. They are two poinits behind leaders Manchester United and only behind second placed Manchester City on goal difference. The weekend saw them get a good 3-1 win at Brentford in the FA Cup making it five wins in a row. They'll be without Jamie Vardy for a while but he hasn't been in scoring form anyway so it won't hurt them too much. City's away league form has been impressive this season with seven wins out of nine and just one loss at Liverpool. Both teams have scored in three of their last four away league games. A bet on that stat coming up again looks a good one to make here.
