Eintracht Frankfurt host West Ham United in the second leg of the Europa League semi-finals. The Bundesliga side are 2-1 up from the first leg and the winners of this tie will take on either RB Leipzig or Glasgow Rangers in the final. The pressure is on both teams to win the Europa League as it's their only realistic chance of playing in the Champions League next season. Frankfurt are down in 11th in the Bundesliga and won't even get into the Europa Conference League via their league position. They lost again on Monday in the Bundesliga, losing 2-0 away at Bayer Leverkusen. They haven't won any of their last five home matches though four of them have been drawn. Another stalemate on Thursday will suit them right down to the ground. Five home Europa League games this season have also been dominated by draws. They've drawn four of them with the only win being over Olympiakos. All five of them have also seen both teams score.
West Ham United face an awkward end to the season. They lost at home to Arsenal on Sunday and that ended any hopes of a top four finish in the Premier League. Their present seventh place will take them into the Europa Conference League but even that is under threat from eighth placed Wolverhampton Wanderers. West Ham have lost their last three games with the only win in the last seven being away at Lyon in the Europa League quarter finals. That win in France is the only one of their last seven away games that hasn't seen them beaten. They will have to go all out to try and retrieve the one-goal deficit from the first leg. A bet on both teams to score is the one to go for here.
