The second set of Group A games begin with only Paraguay having won a match. Chile are third in the group after drawing with Argentina, while Bolivia are bottom after being beaten by Paraguay with Uruguay yet to play a match. A win for Chile, who have won two of the last three Copa America tournaments would take them close to making the knockout stages. Of the five teams in this group, only the side finishing bottom will be eliminated. Beating Bolivia therefore will take Chile four points clear of bottom spot with two group games remaining. Chile have to get out of the habit of drawing games 1-1. That's been the final result in each of their last three matches, two against Argentina and one against Bolivia. That draw with Bolivia was at home in the South American World Cup qualifying group in which Chile are seventh and Bolivia eighth. Chile did beat Bolivia in a friendly match played in March of this year. Only one of their last seven games has been lost, a World Cup qualifier away in Venezuela.
Bolivia lost their first match to Paraguay but know they only need to finish one from bottom to progress. They will be disappointing with that loss as they went into the 62nd minute with a 1-0 lead. Two goals were then conceded in the space of three minutes and eventually they lost 3-1. Only two of their last 21 international matches has been won with the most recent one being a home win over Venezuela in June. Their last eight matches have seen both teams score. A bet on Chile to win is suggested, have a small side bet on Chile winning with both teams scoring.
