Chelsea will look to continue their winning run and keep the pressure on league leaders when they host Leeds United at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League. Chelsea are 3rd in the standings with 19 points and just two behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. With an early kick-off compared to those sides, Chelsea can momentarily go top of the standings. Leeds are 12th in the standings with 14 points and are just three points behind fifth-placed West Ham.
Chelsea smashed Sevilla 4-0 in the Champions League extending their impressive winning run. The Blues are unbeaten in all competitive matches since a 2-0 loss to Liverpool in September. They have won seven of their last eight competitive matches drawing the other. More importantly, Chelsea have been impressive at the back managing six clean sheets during that sequence. Chelsea have scored 22 goals so far which is the joint-most in the league so far. Furthermore, the Blues have conceded just ten goals which is the second-best defensive record.
Leeds got the better of Everton 1-0 in their latest league match making it four points in their last two league matches. Marcelo Bielsa’s side has kept two clean sheets in a row, but have conceded 17 goals so far, which the joint-third most in the league. Leeds have been impressive on the road, though, winning three of their last four Premier League away matches. Each of those wins have come with a clean sheet, although they have conceded four goals in each of their two away Premier League losses.
