Both of these clubs will have been pleased to see Fulham lose to Wolves on Friday night. Burnley are 15th and host Newcastle United who are two places and four points behind them. The last gasp Fulham defeat was particularly good news for Newcastle. They are one place above the relegation zone but are now three points clear with two games in hand. A win at Burnley would do wonders for their survival hopes. United drew their last game 2-2 at home to Tottenham getting a late equalizer. They have gone seven league games without a win but have drawn four of the last five. With Fulham having lost their last four, they are just surviving but still have to play at Fulham on the last day of the season. Away form has seen them earn just one point from their last four away league matches with only a single goal scored. Callum Wilson may be back for this game, that'd be a massive boost for them.
Burnley can go ten points clear of the bottom three with a game in hand if beating Newcastle. It's been another disappointing season for them, mainly caused by their lack of goals. Only 24 league goals have been scored this season. They have only one win in their last seven league games, a surprise 2-1 win at Everton who really need to sort out their home form. Burnley should have won at Southampton last weekend as they went 2-0 up, but ended up losing 3-2. That's four goals in two games but both were away from home. At Turf Moor, Burnley have only scored more than once in one of their last nine at home The last five at Turf Moor have all been drawn and eight of the last nine have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. A bet on that stat coming up again is the tip, have a side bet on a draw.
