Ranked eleventh, Burnley are eight points ahead of next opponents Bournemouth, who are just two points shy of dropping into the relegation pit. Burnley have collected ten out twelve points in the last month and will be hoping to keep up their good run with a victory over Bounemouth.
The Clarets will go into the match a boisterous side knowing that they have beaten the Cherries in their last three head to head games with an aggregate score of 8-1.
A 2-1 victory over Southampton extended Burnleys stay at the middle of the table. Substitute Matej Vydraw was the toast of the day as he came through to break a 1-1 draw registered earlier in the game.
At home, Burnley have won twice in six league games, one of the wins being against current heavyweights Leicester City. They also drew 0-0 with Arsenal at the same venue early February.
Visitors Bournemouth had set on the path to recovery with back to back wins but they stumbled in their most recent match, after losing a one-goal advantage to fall 2-1 at Sheffield United. This will arguably be the easiest match for the team in the next three weeks as they take on Chelsea and Liverpool next. They also are yet to play Leicester, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, some of the other teams that they could easily drop points to.
Having lost to Burnley in the first leg of the tournament, it is Eddie Howe's turn to find a wya of leveling the scores.
At Turf Moor, Burnley are much stable side than they are elsewhere and we expect their finesse to show up as they take on hapless Bournemouth, who have not had much luck with away games. The visitors will give a good account of themselves but will eventually concede defeat.
