Brentford v Liverpool Betting Tips [25 September 2021]

Liverpool's Premier League title push continues on Saturday when the Reds travel to Brentford for a match against the Bees. Brentford's first Premier League campaign sees them sitting in ninth place after five matches, collecting eight points along the way. Forward Mohamed Salah has four goals to his name, while Sadio Mane has found the back of the net three times. Trent Alexander-Arnold deserves praise for his key part in this goalscoring run. The attacking defender has two assists under his belt and averages five key passes per Premier League game, the best average in the division.  

Brentford's biggest scoring threat is Ivan Toney, the forward with two goals and one assist in his last three matches. And the Bees have the capabilities to sting back if this match descends into a goal-fest as their 7-0 win over Oldham in the League Cup in midweek showed. Although Brentford have adapted well to life in the top flight, we expect Liverpool to show them a new quality standard in this contest. Back Liverpool to win and over 2.5 goals.
