Hull City are coming from a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers. While the win boosted their push for survival, it dented Blackburn’s chase for an automatic promotion slot. The visitors will be out to mete the same on Bournemouth but first they’ll have to check their defensive performance. In the last five matches Hull have managed just one clean sheet, and conceded two or more goals in three. Two of the five matches have produced over 2.5 goals and they’ve failed to score in two of them. Away from home, Hull City are winless in the last three games and they have no clean sheet in those three, losing two and failing to score in one.

Hull City pulled a shock result in their last game and will welcome this challenge, hoping for another surprise. They haven’t been at their best defensively, save for that win over Blackburn. Against Bournemouth, Hull City will face a side that has also been unstable but one of the top scorers in the league, and they’ll have to be at their defensive best.
