A win for second placed Milan at eighth placed Bologna will take them top of Serie A. They are currently two points behind leaders Napoli (still with a 100% record) but they don't play until Sunday. Milan may be doing well in Serie A but it's all going wrong in the Champions League. Midweek saw them lose away at Porto, making it three defeats in a row for the Italian team. In Serie A, Milan have yet to lose a game this season. They have seven wins and an away draw with Juventus. Milan have won six of their last seven away league games and scored in all but two of the last 33. Five of their last six league visits to Bologna have seen them return home with three points.
Bologna are six places lower than their opponents but trail them by ten points. They made a good start to the new Serie A season with seven points from their first three games. Then it all went wrong with a 6-1 hammering away at Inter. Only one of their last five league games has been won, a 3-0 home win over Lazio (only four points from four away games this season). Home form has seen them win three and draw one. However, their opponents have included three of the bottom eight and two sides in the relegation zone. Back Milan to get an away win here.
