Group A of the 2023-24 Champions League begins with Bayern Munich hosting Manchester United. Also in this group are Galatasaray and Copenhagen. Manchester United head to Germany after a poor display at the weekend. The Reds lost 3-1 at home to Brighton and Hove Albion and are 13th in the Premier League, already nine points behind leaders Manchester City. They have only won two league games out of five this season. It was a struggle to get those victories over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest and both were at home. The latter saw them have to come from 2-0 down to beat Forest 3-2. Both of their away games this season (at Tottenham and Arsenal) have been lost with five goals conceded. Only one of their last six away games in the Champions League have been won with five of their last ten being lost. Another defeat looks on the way and we tip Bayern Munich to win this game.
