It’s looking like a return to Bundesliga II for Arminia Bielefeld. They are one from bottom in the Bundesliga and host fourth placed RB Leipzig in their final fixture. Even a win is unlikely to save Bielefeld. They are three points behind Stuttgart who are in the relegation play-off place. However, there’s a deficit of seven goals to make up. Bielefeld don’t look in the form to get a win here. They have only won five league games all season with just two at home. Their relegation is not surprising after a run of just two points from their last ten games and no win in four at home. They did beat Leipzig 2-0 away in December though.
RB Leipzig also need a good result from this game. It’s not gone well for them in the past couple of weeks. They lost two league games and lost a lead in the Europa League semi-finals. Last weekend saw them get back on track though with a 4-0 home win over out-of-form Augsburg. That’s left them in the final Champions League place, two points ahead of Freiburg. Union Berlin are three points behind them but with a vastly inferior goal difference. Leipzig have only won six away league fixtures this season but had won five in a row before a recent loss at Borussia Monchengladbach. Go for them to get the win here which will be great news for them but appalling for their opponents. They can lead at both half time and full time.
