Andorra v Moldova Betting Tips [11 October 2019]

Andorra are set to play Moldova in the return leg of their UEFA Euro Championship qualifiers on Friday evening.  The match will be played at the Estadi Nacional. The two sides are in Group H alongside Turkey, France, Iceland and Albania, where Moldova are fifth in the standings as Andorra warm the basement. 

Moldova have won just one of six group matches, while Andorra have lost all their fixtures, so far and are already eliminated from the contest. Andorra have been in deplorable form and have not won any of their last 14 matches. In fact, the Tricolors have lost all of their last six matches and have only scored once in 14 straight games. The go into the match against Andorra with a home advantage, but with a deplorable record that has seen them remain without a win in the last 10 games they hosted.  

Comparably, the visitors, who have an almost impossible chance of proceeding to the next round, beat Andorra 1-0 in the opening leg of the group stages. Moldova could make it to the next round if they win all of their next group matches, but will also have to cross fingers that some teams keep losing. It is a mathematical chance.  But for this game, it is likely that Semen Altman's men will bid for an outright victory, given that they have not lost against Andorra in history. From five head to head matches, Moldova have won four times and one game ended in a draw. 

However, if Moldova manage to secure a win, it will be by a slim margin as the team has only scored more than one goal once in 12 matches. This was in 2018 when they beat San Marino 2-0 in a UEFA Nations League group match. The team's record on the road is even worse as they only have won once in 12 games, during which time they scored a total of two goals. 

Andorra have already left the tournament and will only be playing for pride. However, it is likely that they will be too relaxed in the match to offer any meaningful competition to Moldova, who will do everything in their capacity to carry the day.
